In 6 months we’ll hear from these racists about “deserts”, “food deserts”, “shopping deserts”, all kinds of crying about how there are no stores or delivery joints.
An acquaintance of mine owned a small chain of “off price” grocery stores back in the 20th century. He opened one in what used to be called the “central district” (very poor and black neighborhood that has since been gentrified). The prices there were higher than in any of his other stores because he had to compensate for the rampant shoplifting.
Ultimately, he just gave up and had to close the store.
