They allow criminals to get away with crimes.

Enough said.

We should all know now how Hitler came to power. It is easy to stir up fear and convert humans into sheep.

I will not enter any business requiring a mask. Period.

The virus is an invisible “boogeyman” and it has been remarkably easy to scare grownups into believing in that scary “boogeyman.”

The Village is a 2004 American period horror film written, produced, and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Joaquin Phoenix, Adrien Brody, William Hurt, Sigourney Weaver, and Brendan Gleeson.

The film is about a village whose population lives in fear of creatures inhabiting the woods beyond it, referred to as “Those We Don’t Speak Of”.

It turns out the entire climate of fear in that story was falsely created to control people using fear of the unseen creatures beyond the perimeter of the village.

Note to bricks and mortar shopkeepers everywhere: You can require me to wear a mask to enter your store. But you can’t make me shop there if you do. Your call.

It's About Social Control

I have worn a mask 2x through this whole thing - once, because I needed mulch and they wouldn't let me in the Big Box store without one, and secondly, I wore one when I took my 83 year old Mom out to buy shoes this past weekend. Other than that, haven't worn one and I won't!

No masks for me, EXCEPT...the doctors I visit that require it.

And no, I won’t be shopping for a doc that doesn’t require it. The eye surgeon I visited the other day takes MONTHS to get in to see. He is an Eye Scientist that keeps my vision on track. If he said to show up for my appt naked, I would.

Re: #2 Mask wearing could be dangerous

If you want to breathe your own exhaust, why not just tie a plastic bag over your head!??

The loony left is so worried about adding a few parts per million (billion?) to global warming, they should be the ones to self-recycle the last few O2 molecules in their system -— for the children, of course.

“nobody should condemn anyone for their choice of wearing or not wearing a mask.”

I call BS on that writer. You MUST condemn anyone who’s complicit in turning America into a third-world country.

I say that sitting in a hospital waiting room surrounded by other freaks who look exactly like me under duress. We’re all pissed.

If you have a fever, sniffles, sneezes, or coughs, wear a mask to reduce the chances of you spreading it to others. That's all a mask is for.

If you don't have a viral cold or flu already, chances that you wearing one will protect you from getting it are between slim and none.

"Everyone wear a mask" was nothing but BS from the get go due to people like Fauci citing the long asymptomatic phase of COVID-19 as the rational. Even if asymptomatic people can spread the virus, they'll do so by touching their mouth and spreading it to what they touch unless they cough or sneeze which means, they're no longer asymptomatic.

It's all Fauci BS to generate fear. If you're under the weather, coughing, etc., yeah, wearing a mask reduces the amount of virus you spread. Other than that, it's BS.

If you have symptoms and are going where people who are most susceptible are going to be near by, wearing a mask is you being considerate of them.

Over the weekend, I was out in public more than not. I attended a rally with about 250 people then walked the crowded streets of Annapolis, MD and we got lunch. No masks and I even shook a bunch of hands.

Three trips to Home Depot and one to Lowe’s. No mask. I’m looking for a refrigerator so I had long interactions with store associates. Not challenged by anyone.

I’ve got this great Trump 2020 mask that just languishes in my pocket.

I’m no criminal. But I see tactical value in ordinary citizens wearing masks in these troubled times.

The mask I wear is large and dark. When I’m wearing it and I happen to be armed, it makes a statement to my surroundings:

“You don’t know who I am and you can’t identify me, either. You don’t know if I’m armed or not.”

“If I have to defend myself from Antifa scum like you, you or your cohorts won’t be able to point me out to the po-po.”

“If I see you harming an innocent person, I will intervene decisively and then melt into the crowd.”

“You Antifa scum are confronted with your intended victims wearing masks, too.”

“If we’re all required to wear masks because of COVID, then we who are not terrorists also reap the benefit of anonymity.”

“You can’t have it both ways.”

9. In most states, the executive orders are unconstitutional. The governor does not have the right to make law.

I understand emergency orders like an evacuation for a hurricane or something. Our emergency is going on four months, plenty of time for the legislature to get off their vacation and actually do something.

Freedom of speech and association trickles down to freedom of what you wear. They cannot force us to wear a specific item of clothing.

Regarding compliance, I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Required by my employer. I'll keep my job and wear a disposable mask, but thanks for the suggestion.

... you’d better obey or be mask-shamed …

Not at MY local Walmart!

Folks are about 50/50 there and we get along just fine with each other; although I do admit to being a scofflaw at the one-way arrows on the floor.

I wear a mask. It allows me to shave only once or twice a week. I wear expensive cologne/after shave. I'm saving a bundle.

I also started cutting my own hair about five years ago. I figure I've saved a couple thousand on that too.

I don’t wear one. My stubborn independence is sponsored by friends who work in Walmart. I often drive them to work and drive them home in the course of my usual day (driving all over the place), so they are happy to return the favor and shop for me. And I feel bad for them that they must wear masks eight hours a day, or they don’t get their paychecks.

Meanwhile I go to a place like Burger King to experience pandemic irrationality close up. The cashier is masked and gloved, and extends a plastic tray into which I place my debit card. Then the tray is offered with return of the card. This tray isn’t washed and innumerable people have done what I must do: paw the surface of the tray to take the card, plus the receipt. If the cashier had just handed me these things I would not have corona cooties on my fingertips. Or at least I’d have the cooties on just two fingertips instead of five. Which is to say the tray has more than doubled the danger. Which is substantial according to them. :(

Parked by a church yesterday. Nobody went in or out, but an elderly couple, masked, crept into the tavern next door to it...Are the state-owned liquor stores closed? Can’t be. You’d see some riots.
