Former President George W. Bush will not support President Trump in his effort to seek reelection this year.

People familiar with his thinking told the New York Times the 43rd president won't back his fellow Republican, who will likely face former Vice President Joe Biden in the general election.

Freddy Ford, a spokesman for Bush, said the former president plans to speak out only on policy issues.

Surprise surprise surprise!

Is this the guy who gave a big speech about equality for all, special privilege for none? The speech was given somewhere in Pennsylvania. I highlighted parts of his speech on another web forum and was kicked off. That was right after that sight started taking money from Google.

I know - and he wasn’t a racist either - I’m just being hyperbolic and using the leftists words at the time against him now. Course NOW he’s an elegant statesman because he serves their cause

Ronald Reagan’s biggest mistake George Bush..

The deep state Republicans push Bush on Reagan. Reagan's biggest mistake was supporting Osama with weapons technology against the Soviets. We would have been better off letting the Soviets bleed longer against the Muslims. They may have even gotten Osama. There would have been of Trade Center loss. We wouldn't be overrun with Muslim migrants.

bush and his bush republicans never liked the president ... the senate is full of old bush republicans ... these are the guys who shipped off our jobs, sold out to china, endless middle east wars and let the country be overrun with illegals ... the club for growth and the chamber of commerce and other big business wanting cheap labor control them...they believe they can regain power if trump loses ...

Because as part of their club, hey, better to have a far left nincompoop like Biden. After all its only the United States and evil Trump cleared the White House of violent stakes just because officers were assaulted and an historic church was torched. Better elect Biden! / bitter s

Oh thats to bad JR. You rode the coat tails of your Ol man into office and THEN, you had to finish the job he failed to do in Iraq.

But then again, you never were the most sharp knife in the drawer.

That’s great news. Former President George W. Bush endorsing President Trump is like former President Clinton or Carter endorsing him.

If Trump is smart he will put W’s non-endorsement in a commercial and run it 24/7.

Voted for him, then stood many days in 2000 on Massachusetts Avenue with others chanting “Get out of Cheney’s House.” For this betrayal of the people who supported him in his hour of need two decades ago? And stood by him and up for him as he was trashed throughout his presidency by the very people whose favor he now curries? Bush should be ashamed.

Did we all have a choice then?

GD I was sick and tired of voting for the lessor of two evils..that is until the Donald came along.
