If Republicans wanted a chance in elections, they would never run another white man. I wish I was joking, but I’m not. The amount of white guilt in this country is stunning.

I don’t agree with that...but...it sure doesn’t hurt to get people like James elected to destroy their narrative. There are many people being taught that voting Republican is racist - but if they have choices like this staring them right in the face - there is hope at least some would question the truth of that narrative...i.e. make them think “How would be racist for me to consider voting for a black candidate over a white candidate?” The point isn’t to embrace the narrative by running candidate like James - but to destroy the narrative and expose it as a lie.
