One man was killed and 11 people were wounded early Sunday when gunfire erupted in a Minneapolis business district, police said.
The shooting occurred around the 2900 block of Hennepin Avenue, not far from Bde Maka Ska, the largest lake in the city’s Chain of Lakes.
“12 people have suffered gunshot wounds in an incident on 2900 block of Hennepin S. 1 adult male died and 11 have no –life-threatening wounds,” the city’s police department posted on Twitter.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports a total of 19 people shot on Saturday.

That’s the former Lake Calhoun. The shootings were right around what is now Calhoun Square, the name is in the process of being changed of course. I’m sure that the Mayor and his city council will claim that the shootings were caused by the fact that Calhoun Square hasn’t been renamed fast enough. Look for it to be something like The Martyr George Floyd Memorial Square.

I live near Mpls. At 6 am I heard this on the morning news/variety hour. I would like to know if this was a black on black fight or was it a black shooting up whites. Or was it whites shooting up blacks? I thought uptown was more hipster.

I went to Mass downtown Mpls this morning. They were super focused on me wearing a mask and not sitting too close to people. It really upset me. It was insane. Go to a park 7 miles from Mpls and nobody wears a mask, except ppl from Mpls.
It dawned on me, masks give the people of Mpls a sense of control. They have their heads buried in the sand. Hell has a death grip on their city. But as long as you wear a mask, they feel safe. Poor liberal bastards.
A few more blocks south and you’re into linden hills and if that happens all those better than thou leftist white elites are going to demand their local police shoot to kill ... LOL
And the police can say, Sorry. We don't want to incite more violence by enforcing the law. Besides, you'll get reimbursed by your insurance company.
True, more range time might help. But relocating their metal sights from the side of their pistols to the top will have a much more pronounced effect.
