The TikTok kids have phone numbers and can register like anybody else.

Why would Trump supporters register and not go to the rally?

Brad Parscale doesn’t strike me as a very smart guy.

Why would Trump supporters register and not go to the rally?

To show their support for Trump. Lots of people do that. Contrary to what many people here seem to believe, the tickets are free, and there are NO reserved seats for the general public. Not one single registration made by someone unable or unwilling to attend (distance, health, other commitments), or the silly TikTok children, deprived any one else of the opportunity to register and gain entrance into the arena.

Brad Parscale doesn’t strike me as a very smart guy.

Yeah, he did such a terrible job in 2016 that it sent Madame President right to the White House.

Go watch his NPR interview with the adversarial Frontline. Tell me if you still think he isn’t smart.

Parscale won 2016 against the campaign machine of the Smartest Woman in the World, who was much better funded.

My take is that a lot of people simply didn’t go after they heard about 800,000+ ticket requests.

I’ve been to three Trump rallies since the late summer of 2016. The closest one was more than two hours away. After I traveled to the last one only to get shut out after the venue filled, I have become much more judicious about my approach to these things. If there’s a rally and on the day of the event I can’t be sure I’ll get there at least three hours before it starts, I will not even leave home to travel there.
