“Old” is not a function of chronological aging but mental aging. President Trump is in his 70s but he’s definitely not old; there’s a video of him singing along in his car with his family - and the song IIRC was something from the late 2000s/early 2010s.
Young’s snob music player/music service company did figuratively burn down first, though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pono_(digital_music_service)
Big Country did a cover of Roxy Music’s “Prairie Rose” that I think is better (but not by a whole lot) than the original.
Don’t listen to the haters. I dig Brian Ferry/Roxy Music’s cover of “Like a Hurricane.”
I thought that was the point of royalties. People pay the artist (whomever holds the rights) to perform their songs.
He wanted this.............................................and married this instead!
“By June 2015, however, Variety Magazine reported that PonoMusic struggled with funding issues, which had slowed the company’s expansion.
Prior to June 2015, Young had sought financial backing from Donald Trump.”
Wha ha ha ha
It’s better to burn out than it is to rust.
He’s just mad that Trump hasn’t ordered a “massacre,” which would allow him to rewrite and release a new version of “Ohio” on its 50th anniversary, like Elton John did with “Candle in the Wind” when Princess Diana died.
Trump should merely respond, Ok. and leave it at that. Theres no point in getting into a pissing match with entertainers.
Partially why I mentioned it, yes. :D
He’s also mad that Trump wouldn’t save his precious Pono Music snob music player and service. He asked Trump to bail him out back around 2015 and you bet Young holds a grudge.
This makes me happy.
Neil Young wrote an affectionate song about his pal Charles Manson AFTER the family did the killings. David Crosby was not happy about that.
Young upstaged the other 3 in live concerts.
And Graham Nash didn’t like former crack addict David Crosby.
For people who sang about peace love and understanding they sure can’t get along with each other.
Does the song mention the arson that preceded that gunfire?
Does the song mention the gunshots that preceded the gunfire?
Does the song mention the days and days of Leftist violence and rage that preceded...?
Neil Young “became” an American finally just so he could vote against Trump and yet he violates his oath and claims to still be a Canadian as well. Can’t hold dual allegiance that way. So sorry. He’s committing vote fraud.
Before brain damage = Reagan fan and "Let's Roll"
After brain damage = Divorce long standing wife Peg, and go stupid with crazy Daryl Hannah.
Well before Neil Young joined Buffalo Springfield, he was in a Canadian group with Rick James. This is kinda upbeat.

This one is kind of slow and downbeat but still a good Monkees song with Neil Young
