Even if you ignore his political blather, as a singer he basically sucks.

But he does. Like many things Trump does, it’s like Groucho giving Margaret Dumont a wedgy. He wants them to get morally outraged and cluck and splutter like wet hens.
So glad to hear you say that. I saw him perform at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in the early 80’s. An old friend loved him and begged me to go. The worst concert that I have ever been to. He was horrible, could not sing and had no interaction with his audience. It was painful, I still remember how happy I was when it was over. But I was nice and kept my mouth shut, I didn’t want to hurt my friend’s feelings.
