If Trump dumps Pence it needs to be for one reason only: letting the coronavirus task force run HIM. Not for any lame identity politics maneuver.
Mike Pence is a completely honorable gentleman, and after the last 30 years, would bring honor and dignity to the Oval office. With that said, I don't think he could ever win, and don't think he wants it if he did.
The Presidency has become nothing more than a mud wrestling contest thanks to the liberal scum that control the news media and most of the dialog. Trump has no problem rolling around it and throwing it back at them, which is why he has survived this long. But I don't think Mr. Pence wants any part of that.
And from here on, the mud wrestling is only going to get worse.
