Leaders in education, politics and other areas gathered in suburban Evanston Sunday to ask that the Illinois State Board of Education eliminate history classes at schools statewide.
At a news conference, State Rep. LaShawn K. Ford said current history teachings lead to a racist society and overlook the contributions of women and minorities.
Ford and other leaders have asked the ISBOE and school districts to immediately remove history books that "unfairly communicate" history.

I would say America is mad. Even those on ‘our side’ wouldn’t be considered Republicans a decade or two ago (or even considered Democrats by Liberals from a couple decades further). Society is crumbling. What is right is wrong, and what is wrong is standard. Kids cartoons show gay characters. Now they want to ‘abolish’ history.

You know, given their complaints, there are two responses one could come up with. The right one (teach more history) or the wrong one (erase history/teach no history).
