The blade-wielding Pennsylvania man shot dead by police — triggering destructive protests demanding justice — was previously busted in 2019 for knifing four people in the city, according to his lawyer and officials.
Before Ricardo Munoz, 27, made the fatal decision to rush a cop while waving a knife on Sunday, he was charged with stabbing or slashing two men, a woman and a 16-year-old boy in and near a Lancaster home in March of last year.
“He is the individual who was shot yesterday,” confirmed public defender Elizabeth Low, who represented Munoz in the aggravated assault case.

These sorts of facts get lost in the uproar over alleged police brutality. If there are any exceptions, I hope someone lets us know. But this struck me, that this guy made the fatal decision to attack police. So many others, from Trayvon Martin on to the present, have brought their demise upon themselves, by their own actions. But we never talk about that aspect of these cases.
I know Trayvon was not a police shooting, but, his case is frequently mentioned as inspiring the Black Lives Matter movement to get its start.
He was such a good boy.he was getting ready to go to college , blah, blah, blah.
Attack an armed man, expect to get shot.
This guy had already stabbed four other people.
That’s exactly the point. This guy, as others before him, chose poorly.
BLM goes on about “innocent black men being hunted down by white cops” when 99.9% of the black guys gunned down are committing a crime at the time.
I watched the video of the shoot, it was a righteous shoot and the cop did it perfect, spotted the knife and him charging, ran and put distance between them and then cut loose.
Hey, that was a defense to murder in Texas until well into the 20th century...
Had the judicial system worked, Mr. Stabbed Four People would have not have been shot to death. He would have been tried, convicted, and in prison serving a twenty year sentence.
