.What this now means is that the judge will be praised for her service and then given a burial. Then President Trump and the Republican-led Senate will begin the process to fill the untimely vacancy to the nation’s highest court.
This is very tragic but we have to remember that the country must move on. Also, with the Democrats changing the rules of the election in so many states, there are likely to be some very important cases that reach the Supreme Court.

Very good point. Biden has just said that he would appoint a Female African American, that gives him a weak hand. Trump will appoint a woman who has a stellar judicial record. The Democrats don't have plan to counter the upcoming fight.

Roberts will side with the 3 libs, and a 4-4 tie will let any lower court decision on mail-in ballots stand. This is not a good development for us.

(If Roberts does side with the libs and Ruthie was still around, then it would be 5-4 for the libs, and we automatically lose. There's at least a chance that the appeals court would have decided in our favor.)
It would have been 5-4 if that’s the case in favor of the Democrats. The development is still good for us as it allows us the chance to make positive change on the courts before election chaos.

Trump has done a lot with the appellate courts, but hasn't taken control of ALL of them. So the Rats will jurisdiction shop, win, en banc if necessary, at the appellate court level then blackmail Roberts to victory. Another Trump Supreme prevents that.
It will be hard enough to confirm a SCOTUS pick with our current numbers in normal times. Many of the Republican senators will NOT only take the time before the election for the nomination process. Just get Trump elected and all will be well as can be expected. There is now one fewer hard left vote.
