Until after WW2, LA area had one of the best light rail systems in the country.

Then the oil companies convinced them to go to busses and automobiles. All the light rail tracks were torn up and easements vacated.

So here we go again.

It wouldn’t take an oil company to ‘convince’ me to choose an automobile over light rail. I can go where I want, when I want, and with whomever I want. And I don’t have to worry about sitting next to some inner city thug either.
