DURHAM, N.H. Weeks out from a presidential election, the sidewalks on the campus of the University of New Hampshire are usually lined with clipboard-wielding activists and campaigners.
"None of that's going on right now," said UNH political science professor Andrew Smith.
Getting out the vote at colleges like UNH will be a challenge this year, mostly because a lot of students aren't on campus, and those who are are under tight restrictions that could deter first-time voters. While the pandemic will hinder both parties' ability to get young voters to cast their ballots, Smith said Democrats have the most at stake.

While it has been a good few weeks for Joe, they know they got caught flat footed in the GOTV game and other issues such as this. I believe that is why there is the current full court press to gaslight Trumps base, to even things out. As much as I can tell, early voting by Democrats is not any higher than normal, and not out distancing Republicans to say the least. Much of this is going to come to election day turnout.
College students are one of the worst groups for voting fraud.
They vote at home and they are then registered by the democrats on campus and vote there.
It is really bad where there is same day registration, like New Hampshire, where the polling places are loaded with out of state car tags on Election Day.
But Chris Wallace says it doesnt happen.
Terrible reporting and disappointing analysis here. New Hampshire took steps to reduce election fraud since 2016. Among these, those who claim residency have to provide evidence that they do things a resident does — as in register a car, pay taxes on property, and other things college kids do not do. Having less migrant voters claiming college dorms as their legal residence is simply the icing on the cake.
The Dems worried there isn’t enough brainwashed dimwits, halfwits, and nitwits left on campus to stuff those ballot boxes this year?
Years ago a poll watcher stationed on a college campus said she saw many times when a student would be “frog-marched” up to the polling station by pairs of activists who knew that that student hadn’t yet voted.
