Seems like Pinkerton would be the one facing criminal charges while the TV station would face monetary liability.
Pinkerton said that the shooter was NOT an employee or contract. Not sure if that is true but if you take their statement at face value, then there would not be any liability by Pinkerton. I.e all liability would be on 9News.
