Your obvious intent is to advance a narrative of fear based on statistical information based on intentionally flawed raw data. This has been the goal of the Democrats for months. That combined with your repeated use of Alinsky tactics convinces me that you are most likely a troll who will disappear after the election. So there is some solace in that.
Until you arrived here I was unsure that the Dunning–Kruger effect was an actual phenomena. But your posts provide what appears to be proof. I assume that you are a young person who is a victim of our “everyone gets a participation award” educational system.
Actually, I get along fine with doctors and nurses here. In fact, I talk with several of them through direct mail messages and have had several thank me for my support when people who are clearly anti-science started attacking them.
Facts don’t scare people. The fact is there’s an upper bound to COVID-19 and it’s easy to calculate using the R0 and the IFR. The fact is that vaccines are nearly here (thanks to President Trump’s efforts in Operation Warp Speed) and they will drive us to herd immunity, starving the virus of vulnerable hosts. The fact is that by this time next year, the only thing we’ll be talking about with regards to COVID is the economic damage done by governors’ responses to it, as the masks and social distancing and all that stuff will be gone. And if we’re lucky, we’ll be talking about how President Trump’s efforts are getting the economy back on track.
