That’s like trying to pull a dead gazelles carcass away from a pack of hyenas. Good luck.

They don’t watch Fox News or any of the others - they follow independent journalists podcasts - Steven Crowder, Tim Pool and others who speak common sense.

They don’t trust the media one bit

The Lincoln Project.
Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw-Haw would respect them.

Your “online” dictionary? That could be the problem right there! :)

My Random House Webster’s lists “succession” as something or someone following in sequence or order. For instance, as part of presidential succession, Trump succeeded Obama. Or, the succession of the alphabet is A, B, C, D...Z.

Hence, my question to you was...what succeeded? In other words, to what sequential order were you alluding?

Or, if you intended “succession” to somehow flow from the roots “success” or “succeed,” i.e., as a reference to an achievement, or accomplishment, or a successful result, that application is wholly inappropriate.

I don’t wish to sound pedantic, but I’m old school and one of my pet peeves (and we all have them!) is the misapplication of “succession” for “secession,” as such would be a malapropism. And, believe me, on FR that error is legion.

There are some that are controlled opposition, but anything other than mainstream is a good start. Decades were lost in the battle by listening to Buckley and the birchers.

Nice. Are you related to Bill Safire?

Totally agree with you. You don’t even have to look at the Hunter videos.

“Nice. Are you related to Bill Safire?”

He wouldn’t claim me! And neither would Bill Buckley! But, both were gems, no?

While I can appreciate their brains, no they were not gems. They kept us from reacting to commie evil the way we are starting to with Trump. They were, as we now say, controlled opposition.

Hannity falls into this category, with his “it’s not the rank and file” bullshit.

And, believe me, on FR that error is legion.

For sure and I make it a practice to not get involved with grammar police here because it is pointless in most cases.

I did notice the original poster's error but like most of those, just attributed it to aoto correct and those are legion for sure. Then I noticed your post and out of curiosity decided to double check it myself and see why the error was made by the original poster and to my shock there seemed to be a legitimate use. Imagine my shock when I couldn't repeat my search.

Just thought it was odd. Most errors here are the result of trying to rapidly respond to someones comment and of course spell check. That is further compounded by the fact that when we quickly read what we just wrote we often see what we intended to write not what we actually wrote add to that the fact that auto correct will make some weird corrections and spell check will miss them because they are correctly spelled.

Oh well, there are likely much bigger problems for us to ponder than improper grammar.

The GOP in Georgia needs to get their act together - FAST! We now have to defend two Senators in runoffs in January and if they show the same incompetence they've always shown, then both will be lost!

They've already let the socialists give the state to China Joe through blatant fraud!

I can’t for the life of me find any definitive result for the Senate election. I believe there are 100 seats?

Does anyone know if the Republican party still has the majority?

“While I can appreciate their brains, no they were not gems.”

My reference was to their appreciation for and mastery of the English language.

In that case I agree.

I always admired them for their arguments also, until I realized how terribly wrong they were. I can admit my error. No one told me the truth.
