Its either certify the fraudulent election, or have the case go to the court system, with its endless appeals and postponements, only to have it come down to this: a pile of evidence laid out before a judge or court, and have them decide. And that decision is very unlikely to be overturn the election, which the courts have historically been reluctant to do. More likely they'll just punt. Say something like “Yes, we see the evidence of fraud, but we don't have the power (courage) to throw out the election and have a do-over.”
The 'Rats know that time is on their side. They'll play stall ball until Biden (Harris) is sworn in. Then the Constitution allows only a very limited set of options for removing him (her). And none of those is likely to happen.
