We cannot coexist with these animals. I’ve been saying this for a better part of a year on here. My circle of friends are mostly retired as I....and we are not 25 years old anymore. We may cannot win a physical fight but all of us can pull a trigger.
There are no red or blue states, only states where socialist city slickers sometimes outnumber Americans. Creating laws to support the formation of autonomous city-states is one peaceful solution, as long as socialist rule ends at city limits. It used to be cities were important economically, but the internet, China viruses, and factories moving out has ended that importance. Letting big cities tax and self-regulate all they want is equivalent to nuking the rat nests, just in slow motion.
I’ve always thought that a tax revolt would work PROVIDED that it is a nationwide revolt. If 50 million Trump voters decided not to pay federal income taxes, will they come and lock us all up? I don’t think so.
To mitigate Chinese influence, the two American (conservative) parts of the former USA would need to form an alliance to forestall it. It has to be understood and accepted that the region dominated by CA will consider its connection with China a “special relationship,” not unlike that of the current USA and Britain. The key is keeping that rot from infiltrating the heartland regions.

I think splitting apart would be the only peaceful way out. Now the Left is openly stealing elections. The last peaceful means of settling differences short of secession are slipping away. I would prefer secession to another civil war.
Mars will be colonized before the U.S. splits apart. If you want out, you’ll have to go up.
But it's a lot harder. Let's say the independent state of Californicatia invited the ChiComs to land troops on their territory. We'd be fighting two nation-states at once, including one bordering us, including troops and agents who look and speak just like real Americans.
Do I think it would be easy to crush the internal enemies we have now in several states? No. Do I think it would be easy for them to wage a civil war against Normal America? "No" x 10, since those (current) states for the most part don't even control the countryside within their own borders.
Either way, the patriot states would have allies within the snowflake territories. The problem is the vastly increased cost of not controlling thousands of miles of your own coastline when foreign entities are bringing in heavy weapons and foreign troops.
