Merry war, Christmas is over
Most of our relatives live near Stowmarket. My stepson is now worried about going to his wife’s mother’s house for Christmas even though it’s only a half hours drive away.
In the Robin Hood movie starring Kevin Costner, the sheriff of Nottingham spoke a memorable line; in a petulant outburst, he shouted, “Cancel Christmas!!” We all laughed. Now it is coming true.
