Hear that? That's the sound of 70 million Democrats groaning that their dynasty won't be perpetuated due to a divided opposition.
No one hates the GOP more than I do, but the harsh reality is a third party only helps the Democrats. Let me ask you, if a third party were to pop up tomorrow, who would be party leaders at the precinct level? Who will sit at election tables? Who will work with election officials at the county level? Will it be you? Me? If yes, then why aren't we jumping in to take over the GOP at the precinct level? It would be far easier, and far more effective, to take over the apparatus of an existing party than it would to create it all from scratch. It would also pit two almost-same groups against each other (GOP and Patriot party, or whatever it gets called). You and I (high information voters) would see the differences, but everyone else would not. You end up with two similar bases fighting each other in campaigns for no good reason other than the letter on their jersey says they should. This happens already with the Libertarian party and GOP, to the dems delight.
Trumps' efforts would be better spent fixing election fraud and creating an organization dedicated to vetting, cultivating, and supporting candidates who invade the GOP space and advocate for MAGA principles. As a corollary, I'd love it if he supported his own 1776 initiative and worked on getting the curriculum into schools around the nation. Fight the NEA and other regressive forces in education.
We have a beachhead into the culture wars. We have a leader who has shown what needs to be done. The rest is up to we, the people.

From your lips to God’s (and Trump’s) ears.
I’ve had to purchase three new sets of asbestos underwear from all of the flaming I’ve received espousing the same viewpoint.
I understand the frustration and deep-seated anger at the GOP, but picking up our ball and walking off the field is not the way to win.

No one hates the GOP more than I do, but the harsh reality is a third party only helps the Democrats. The Democrats will be helping themselves from now on. The GOP is irrelevant because it will let the communists count as many "votes" as they need wherever they need them.

Let me ask you a question: what does the GOPe do when an unapproved GOP primary candidate wins? Answer: They happily collude with Democrats to defeat our candidates. They’ve done that over and over. And long before Trump arrived on the scene.
The GOP has proven they will never be an opposition party to the progressive agenda. We gave them Congress and Trump. What did they do? Collude with Democrats to obstruct Trump and disenfranchise his 75 million voters.
