“A private security guard and a police officer on duty” at each store. In San Francisco, the cop is there to make sure the rights of the thief are respected and that he is not abused, harmed or hindered while he steals.

Why on earth, would anyone choose to live there?
The weather? Seriously.

And didn’t they just spend about $16,000,000 on tents for 200 people? Crime may not pay, but working for the government, skimming and getting kickbacks does.

You’d have to have everything behind glass, and the customers browse from an enclosed cattle chute; they’ll select what they want and pay before receiving the merchandise - very similar to how fast-food places operate on the urban welfare reservations already.

Wonder if Chesa is going to be interviewed about his soft on crime policies. And Soros has gotten many more like him elected.

About a mile from me there was this really nice hardware store. But it was in a sketchy part of town. So no one was allowed near the inventory. You gave your list to a clerk, then waited until he returned with your items.

Would that work in San Francisco? Probably not. Someone would say that it’s a racist policy. Meanwhile, good folks can get their prescriptions filled.

from SF to Boston, criminals are let go, released
and encouraged to do it again
if less than $1000 (may be higher now) is involved,
or if it is their first assault
(maybe less than fifth rape if a politician?).

they are let go. The crime is pointing this out.

why?

Soros put them in, if they passed their screen txs.

I have a friend who traveled to Moscow during the early 90’s and said something very similar

When he went to his hotel, he was glad to see armed guards outside and in the lobby

The Hotelier said: “Those are not the police or military. They are people we hire privately and at our own expense, because the police are not reliable or competent to secure the place or the guests.”

You mean making it legal to steal $900 from stores did not solve the crime problem or entice more businesses to come in?

Who could have predicted that?
