You are completely missing the point. Powell is throwing their own words back at them. She is using their own words to beat them. “Hey, you guys said my claims are wild and incredible, so how can that be slander if nobody believed them?”
She made serious and true claims with evidence that the courts refused to admit. She never had a chance to make her case. Now that she is being sued unfairly, she is simply throwing their own words back in their face and spinning it as a defense.
She is brilliant. You are wrong to think she is making an admission that she lied or made up the accusations. She did not.
Maybe you can post an excert from one of her briefs that you feel illustrates clearly and without doubt “she was not to be taken seriously” because I don’t believe it.

There is no Edison County, MI. In fact there is no Edison County anywhere in the United States.
If she knew that, she’s a liar. If she didn’t know that, she’s not competent. We should have gotten somebody better to make the case that needed to be made.
