The ONLY thing Chuck Schumer and his party have succeeded in is failure debt and set backs.
He wants collaborators (and will probably get them).
He desperately needs to get things done before November 2022. It’s likely both houses will flip then. He’ll very much regret any action he takes on the filibuster then — which is why they don’t seem to be moving too fast on it now.
Watch for quick action on the Supreme Court packing scheme, though. They’ll need to confirm at least two new justices (maybe three if Breyer takes the hint from the left and leaves) before the next election.

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
Sen. Schumer’s politically correct “progressive change” is not a constitutional term, but based entirely on stolen state powers and likewise stolen state revenues uniquely associated with state powers imo.
More specifically, misguided, post-17th Amendment ratification senators like Schumer steal state revenues by means of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Patriots need to primary (2022) federal and state lawmakers who don’t agree to do the following about stolen state powers and revenues. Lawmakers need to require federal law enforcement officials and judges to inform those accused of violating federal laws of the specific constitutional clause that justifies the law for further scrutiny of the constitutionally of the law.
For example, patriots seem to overlook that even if we didn’t have the 2nd Amendment (2A), it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally give the feds the specific power to make peacetime restrictive gun laws.
In fact, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, a constitutional lawmaker, had clarified that the states have never expressly constitutionally give the feds the specific power to make peacetime penal laws, not ever for murder.
"Our Constitution never conferred upon the Congress of the United States the power - sacred as life is, first as it is before all other rights which pertain to man on this side of the grave - to protect it in time of peace by the terrors of the penal code within organized states; and Congress has never attempted to do it. There never was a law upon the United States statute-book to punish the murderer for taking away in time of peace the life of the noblest, and the most unoffending, as well, of your citizens, within the limits of any State of the Union. The protection of the citizen in that respect was left to the respective States, and there the power is to-day [emphases added].” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe. Ironically, the Supreme Court has indicated that lawmakers like Schumer have the express 14th Amendment (14A) power only to introduce legislation to strengthen constitutionally enumerated protections.
"Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Section 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
“The right of suffrage was not necessarily one of the privileges or immunities of citizenship before the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment, and that amendment does not add to these privileges and immunities. It simply furnishes additional guaranty for the protection of such as the citizen already had [emphasis added].” —Minor v. Happersett, 1874.
In fact, the congressional record also shows that Bingham included 2A when he read the Bill of Rights as main examples of privileges and immunities that 14A applies to the states.

It is disturbing that peacetime restrictive federal gun laws seem to have started appearing in the books during FDR Administration, FDR and the Congress at that time infamous for making laws which they had no express constitutional authority to make imo.

Again, patriots need to primary (2022) federal and state lawmaker who show that they are unwilling to put a stop to federal government overreach of its very limited, constitutionally enumerated powers, especially where our gun rights are concerned.
I don’t see the Senate flipping, too many Republican seats to defend.
Normally, I would agree, but this administration is different. They are already in the process of tanking the economy. The numbers just released today show that the collapse is accelerating. By summer of next year, we will be in a real mess -- especially if they continue with their COVID lockdown crap.
On top of all of that, I do think that the constant drumbeat of racism from the left will get exhausting -- even to minorities. Remember, Trump brought over the largest numbers of blacks and Hispanics of any president. I think the left is starting to wear on minorities. They're getting tired of being told their too stupid to do something as simple as getting an ID. On top of that, a lot of them in Georgia are suffering because of the woke Olympics using their state as a playing field.
Then there's the radical violence. Minneapolis is just the latest. Portland continues, and other cities will have their moments as well. By this time next year, every major city will be in flames and a mess.
Finally, there's the Trump factor. Donald Trump will be a major influence in the 2022 election, and in spite of what the media would like everyone to believe, he's extremely popular in most of the Republican states, and many Democrat states as well.
I wouldn't put too much money down betting against it at the moment. The odds will get even better as the next year goes along...
