Can a lawyer or expert explain how one person who killed one other person be charged and convicted for three counts of manslaughter?

1 - He was a good boy.
2 - He was a loving father.
3 - He was a great athlete.
That’s three.

I am a lawyer and I don’t get it. Neither does any lawyer I have asked.

If a first degree murder charge had also been there, would the jury have convicted him on that, too?

#4. Forget it Monkeyshine: It’s Minneapolis/Minnesota.
Used to be that most states had 1st degree Homicide - Premeditation and Malice
* 2nd degree Homicide - Malice
* 3rd Degree Homicide - Could be either unintentional or by Negligence (any in some places, possibly by Intentional Negligence, etc).

Been reading this a lot. If it was a violation of law to bring three separate charges against Chauvin, you'd think Chauvin's lawyers would have brains enough to argue that during the trial. Or at least be claiming that now. They didn't, and they aren't.
So either the multiple charges were IAW the law (and one may certainly disagree with the law), or Chauvin's lawyers are criminally stupid, or Chauvin's lawyers are in on this vast conspiracy against him. The first choice is probably the easiest and most correct.
