Should have had a taser..
I am doubtful that a taser would’ve been the right choice in this instance. You may disagree with me if you’d like, but I think that’s a good bit of Monday morning quarterbacking going on.

The very next swing of her arm could’ve ended that woman’s life. Taser is intended for when she standing in the yard swinging the knife and no one can get near her. Or she’s in the yard with a knife threatening to go into the house. But when she’s a foot away with a 6 inch blade already swinging and stabbing, no department trains anyone that that is a taser scenario. That deadly threat she presents required her to be stopped -immediately-. Rolling the dice with a taser is gambling with the life of the intended victim.
Cop only had one shot and a taser doesn’t always stop people, especially large, well insulated people wound up on adrenaline.
