Vietnam and China do not get along. I was in both Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi in February 2020. They had locked the border with China.
The usual Chinese tourist spots were ghost towns.
I was surprised when passing from Vietnam into Cambodia, the checkpoint had chairs set up theater style in the middle and everyone going through the checkpoint had to walk by them.
The chairs were for Chinese citizens only!
I’m surprised it did not spread faster.
I had Covid-19 just prior, but didn’t know what it was. I went from full blown symptoms to totally fine immediately when I began taking Hydroxychloroquine. Not for the Covid, but as a prophylactic for malaria as I was headed down the Mekong River by boat for a few days. Someone upstairs was looking out for me.
I think I remember you, we exchanged posts just before you left. Didn’t know you then had covid.

HCQ and Ivermectin. One somewhat effective against Covid, one very effective. Both with risk profiles about like aspirin or Tylenol. Both suddenly very dangerous (if you listen to public health authorities) to use if Covid is involved.
And I am supposed to believe public health about anything?
