“he has been exposed as a lying thug, along with his lying brother”.
That is all true but I doubt that the lefties see it that way. The lefties may not have been born with blinders attached but they grew them at an early age. They don’t see NUFFIN.

Under state law, Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul will assume the role of governor, becoming the first woman to lead the Empire State.Hope she has a better end than the last 3 governors, all 3 resigned in disgrace.

For much of 2020, Cuomo and Newsom were engaged in what is accurately described as a contest to see who would win the title of "America's Most Powerful Tyrant." Oh, there were others in the contest like Whitmer and Inslee and Pritzger and Murphy and Brown and even Newsom's dogsbody Sisolak of Nevada, but they really didn't stand a chance against the super-vile governors of New York and California.
Well, although justifiable, burning a tyrant at the stake is frowned upon in America -- even in today's America -- but loss of power and control is even more painful to the tyrant! One galoot down, one galoot (this one with a prettier hairdo) to go, then on to the also-rans. As with most tyrants and wannabe tyrants on the Left, they often bring themselves down ... primarily because, emboldened by their self-anointed power, they overreach which ultimately causes them to crash and, well, metaphorically speaking, burn. Cheers!

What a world. Sending elderly to their death. Crickets. That’s right. In this crazy world sexual harassment is more grievous a sin than murder.

Yes. There is no greater sin than harassment of the opposite sex, unless it is racism. No one has to die, but just for being a racist you deserve DEATH. (sarc)

Cuomo is being ousted for the wrong thing. Is repeated sexual arassment really worse than killing thousands of people? I agree, but remember, they got Al Capone on tax evasion. ;-)

That might keep him from the baggage of being impeached so his federal job appointment can go without a hitch.

Well, maybe they didn’t really.
If he can leave office with a fairly clean record, then when they 25th Amendment Biden and kick out Harris for being ineligible, then they have him to fill the VP office with, with Pelosi as C-i-C.
Then we will know God is bringing the curtain down.

“I work for NY State. 14 days is the standard “lag time” to process such actions. It sucks, but that’s what it is.”
Dear friend, you have no phooking idea what you are talking about.
You get fired? “Step away from your desk”. Hand over your key. Then escorted out the door and off the premises.
“Resign” means Out The Door. You take over now. I’m out, right now.
Koomo is actually saying, “Eff You All, I’ll take my time Bitches”. Wipe out some hard drives, destroy some files. fire some people, grab some evidence against his enemies, and create havoc on the way put. Oh, and maybe I’ll change my mind. And there’s nothing you can do about it.
But you work for The State, so that’s probably over your head.

"Cuomo had already been stripped of his emergency powers. She will be a figure head until the next election. This is a major victory for our side and everyone here on FR is seeing it as a win for the Left!"That's interesting. Was Cuomo stripped of his emergency powers, or was the office? Or perhaps the term...?

Yeah, but it would still be worth it if he doesn’t GTFO. What a loser.

I work for NY State. 14 days is the standard “lag time” to process such actions. It sucks, but that’s what it is.
You need to test this--maybe you can find a fellow employee to do it for you.
Have them hack in the state treasury computer and steal a few million bucks--and see how long it takes for them to be escorted off the premises....

“I’m surprised he resigned. I figured he’d pull a Ralph Northam and wait for the storm to pass.”
Didn’t seem like Cuomo was getting much ‘flak’ from Democrats within NY State. Other than Letitia James, of course. We kept hearing from the Media that NY pols were ‘concerned’ and so forth but there were never any names attached to these stories. Sure Uncle Joe and Nancy suggested he should resign, but they aren’t involved at the state level where indictments and impeachment are the only remedies.
