Filing fees invested will at least drag them into small claims court. How does this stand the smell test with each states’ insurance department? I don’t think rates can be arbitrarily raised without some corresponding proof of higher risk. Where’s the proof of a greater risk? In my state $75 will allow you to file and have your day in court in front of a local judge. I filed against Twitter and, of course, lost but Twitter had to hire TWO Lexington attorneys to show up at my rural BF Kentucky courthouse. The weasels in DC won’t stand up for us, we have to do whatever we can for ourselves. Who knows, maybe your local judge is fed up with this crap too.
