Mayor Eric Adams on Friday urged social media firms to ban “drill” rap videos that glorify and promote violence.
The mayor’s plea came a day after he gave an emotional speech about the life and death of 18-year-old drill rapper Jayquan McKenley, aka Chii Wvttz, who was gunned down in Bedford-Stuyvesant last Sunday.
Adams said he was not familiar with drill rapping — which tends to have dark, violent themes, often including killing with semiautomatic weapons — until he spoke to his son, Jordan Coleman, who works at Jay-Z’s Roc-Nation.
“I had no idea what drill rapping was. My son sent me videos. It was alarming,” he said.
Adams said he wants to meet with social media companies and tell them to take drill rap videos off their platforms.
“You have a civic and corporate responsibility,” he said.

As far as I’m concerned it’s just another ordinary part of the black subculture that has infested America. And as such should be glorified and exonerated. Why not have drill rappers do the Super Bowl halftime show?

Adams is an IDIOT. Chii was simply doing what’s necessary to earn street cred, as without it, he’s just another ‘aspiring’ wrap artist, with NOTHING new to offer. Now his career will SKYROCKET.

I cannot turn off the halftime show, because I am not going to turn on the Super Bowl for even a nanosecond. All conservatives should boycott this game just because of who the “entertainment” will be at halftime. Talk about a bunch of sickos - the NFL executives AND the performers.
