Former Attorney General William Barr writes in his new book that former President Donald Trump is to blame for the January 6 Capitol Hill riot as he calls for a new 2024 nominee.

“The election was not ‘stolen,’” he asserts in the book, titled One Damn Thing After Another. “Trump lost it.”

Barr also profiles a meeting he had in the Oval Office after he declared publicly that widespread evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 election did not exist.
“’This is killing me—killing me. This is pulling the rug right out from under me,’” Barr claims Trump shouted at him.

Mr. Trump then launched into a list of other grievances he had with his attorney general: that the federal prosecutor Mr. Barr ordered to review the origins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Russia probe that preceded the Mueller report hadn’t released his findings before the 2020 election, and that Mr. Barr declined to prosecute former FBI Director James Comey after a department watchdog rebuked him for sharing memos that contained sensitive information about his interactions with Mr. Trump, a complaint brought up repeatedly by the president.
Barr claims he offered his resignation at that moment, which the president accepted. “Leave and don’t go back to your office. You are done right now. Go home!” Barr asserts Trump told him.
Barr eventually resigned from his position weeks later.
Regarding January 6, the former attorney general said that Trump lost himself after the election and pushed the voter fraud to such an intense degree that it led to the riot on Capitol Hill.
“The absurd lengths to which he took his ‘stolen election’ claim led to the rioting on Capitol Hill,” he writes.

A legit criticism of Trump was that he was too trusting of the deep state.
Turncoat traitors are the ones who are driving people further into Trumps camp. People like barr are too,out,of touch to realize that rinos like him are why our country voted so heavily for Trump both times.
The truth is, people like barr and his traitorous ilk were responsible for Jan 6 peaceful protest by and large,for falsely claimingmthstnthe election was fair ahe it was blagantly obvious that it wasnt and that courts were furiously covering up what happened. And traitors like barr are responsible for inciting blm and antifa to,infiltrate the peaceful protests and try to turn them violent. Regarding the infiltration though, the fact is that Broken windows and a few fist fights however do not an inssur3ction make. Liars and traitors have falsely escalated a protest into accusations of insurrection. The left and their enablers are so lame that they have to invent crap in order to excuse their reactions which amount to,them kneeling on The necks of American conservatives (unlike chauvin who kneeled on the back of f,oyd), and cutting off oxygen (unlike floyd, who was breathing fine until the massive drug overdose killed him)
Or did Trump really have much of a choice. You can only hire people who want the job, or in many cases the people China Mitch would let you hire.

I agree with Barr that Trump could’ve won but harmed himself. I don’t believe enough fraud existed to change the outcome but I do believe things took place aimed specifically at blocking his re-election. I still think the press war on Trump, Trump giving credibility to it with his inability to moderate his temperament and Dem gotv effort dragged Joe over the finish line.

Barr is best buds with the dementia ridden persecutor of all things Trump. Remember when Mueller was presented to the world in all his glory? Tell me he was as “put together mentally” as Biden. You know he was chosen for that hit job for that reason. Buddy with Barr check, able to read but not think, double check.
Seb Gorka has long said that Barr is very much an establishment type of Republican, and he definitely slow-walked anything that could have helped his boss. So much for loyalty and gratitude.
