Alexander Vindman said Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people resisting the Russian invasion could bring about the “beginning of the end” of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the very unlikely event Russia fails in this endeavor, Putin will be held responsible. The next strongman will use this to sack Putin. When the new guy rolls on Ukraine, they’ll be no punches pulled. The next guy would come to power promising to defend Russia from NATO, a revanchist, hell bent on resurrecting some form of the Warsaw Pact. If I were a Russian that would make perfect sense to me.

I thought he became Ukrainian Defense minister after he retired from the Peacock Army in Washington.
Why isn’t he rushing over there. They wanted him to lead their Army he said. Surely they must need him now more than ever... you know, with his combat record and tactical prowess.
I think he and his brother have to live behind that fence they’re erecting again in DC.
