Self-anointed "fact-checkers” in the U.S. corporate press have spent two weeks mocking as disinformation and a false conspiracy theory the claim that Ukraine has biological weapons labs, either alone or with U.S. support. They never presented any evidence for their ruling — how could they possibly know? and how could they prove the negative? — but nonetheless they invoked their characteristically authoritative, above-it-all tone of self-assurance and self-arrogated right to decree the truth, definitively labelling such claims false.
Claims that Ukraine currently maintains dangerous biological weapons labs came from Russia as well as China. The Chinese Foreign Ministry this month claimed: "The US has 336 labs in 30 countries under its control, including 26 in Ukraine alone.” The Russian Foreign Ministry asserted that “Russia obtained documents proving that Ukrainian biological laboratories located near Russian borders worked on development of components of biological weapons.” Such assertions deserve the same level of skepticism as U.S. denials: namely, none of it should be believed to be true or false absent evidence. Yet U.S. fact-checkers dutifully and reflexively sided with the U.S. Government to declare such claims "disinformation” and to mock them as QAnon conspiracy theories.

Where are they finding these " pathogens and toxins" of security concern?
Are they just lying around, all over the ground, in Ukraine?
Are they just seeping out of the ground?

It's telling that I am tempted to believe the Russians, who are known to lie a lot, rather than my own government, who I know lies, all of the time.
What would we do if Russia was collaborating with Mexcio and setting up Russian funded and directed bio weapon labs throughout Mexico? While at the same time Mexico was funding and organizing the Cartels into large well equipped anti-American armie, with Russia’s support? And would we be the bad guys when we responded?

Why do you think it’s bio weapons? What if just bio labs studying the effects of radiation? After all Chernobyl is in Ukraine. What if it’s doing cancer research. Bio lab doesn’t mean bio weapons.

I don’t think anyone is saying “believe China”, but we have a high up State Department official publicly admitting to BioLabs in Ukraine which the US is supposedly worried about.
The obvious question is, was the US funding any of those labs, what research was being done at these labs, who authorized the research, etc.
It is worth investigating a bit yourself. I’m especially concerned about the bioweapon lab set up by Senators Lugar and Obama in Ukraine to study Anthrax. I am absolutely sure that Anthrax is a bioweapon and needs no Bio-research.

U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar applauded the opening of the Interim Central Reference Laboratory in Odessa, Ukraine, this week, announcing that it will be instrumental in researching dangerous pathogens used by bioterrorists.
The level-3 bio-safety lab, which is the first built under the expanded authority of the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction program, will be used to study anthrax, tularemia and Q fever as well as other dangerous pathogens.
“The continuing cooperation of Nunn-Lugar partners has improved safety for all people against weapons of mass destruction and potential terrorist use, in addition to advancements in the prevention of pandemics and public health consequences,” Lugar said.
Lugar said plans for the facility began in 2005 when he and then Senator Barack Obama entered a partnership with Ukrainian officials. Lugar and Obama also helped coordinate efforts between the U.S and Ukrainian researchers that year in an effort to study and help prevent avian flu.
The Nunn-Lugar Act, which established the Cooperative Threat Reduction Program, was established in 1991. Since that time it has provided funding and assistance to help the former Soviet Union dismantle and safeguard large stockpiles of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. The program has also been responsible for destroying chemical weapons in Albania, Lugar said.
