Russia plans to enlist battle-hardened fighters from Syria and other Middle Eastern countries to reinforce the invasion of Ukraine.
On 11 March, Putin approved 16,000 volunteers from the Middle East to be deployed alongside the Russian soldiers, AP reports.
While the announcement by Putin does not specify from which country in the Middle East he is enlisting fighters, a senior U.S. Defense Department official said Moscow was recruiting mainly Syrians bloodied in the decade-long civil war.

I’m not surprised. Russia is looking for allies against NATO now, and will probably form some Eurasian alliance with China.
Just remember, it’s WWIII if we help Ukraine but Putin can do anything he wants.

An Army that’s winning in battle would not need to hire foreigners to bolster their forces.
Putin has over 130,000 soldiers surrounding Ukraine plus Belarusian support. Why does he need more fighters from the Middle East?

I guess Putin being a very good Russian, he doesn’t want them killing each other, so he’s bringing in Muslims to kill Russians.
