Plenty was done. It was taken to the Supreme Court and the Court refused to step in and stop the corruption. And then there were Republican governors and legislatures refusing to stop the corruption. Also, the Republican Congress never allowed Trump to have control of the Justice Department and Barr turned out to be a snake.
All true. The fully bipartisan nature of the coup and stolen election is what made it so effective. History will show that President Trump was mostly a figurehead POTUS. Executive branch departments did pretty much whatever they wanted. I heard Senator Johnson on the radio yesterday saying that Haspel just ignored his committee and he did not have votes to subpoena witnesses due to Quisling GOPers.
Agree with all you wrote but the historic fact is that the fraud that was widely predicted was allowed to go forward and was allowed to stand. The great fear is that nothing has really changed and the same thing will happen in 2022 and 2024. American democracy is a risk to to the perfidy of those who cling to power.
