Vice President Kamala Harris is facing another staffing shakeup after internal friction has plagued her office for months.
Deputy Chief of Staff Michael Fuchs will abandon Vice President Kamala Harris in the coming weeks, according to Reuters. Fuchs’s departure marks the sixth departure of a top staffer in recent months.
Fuchs, a former staffer in former Presidents Bill Clinton’s and Barack Obama’s administrations, worked with Harris on both international and domestic policies. He also coordinated staff and traveled with the vice president abroad.
Harris’s office, which has been tossed to and fro by “disorder, bad press, and, at times, internal frictions” because of Harris’s reported “abusive environment,” where staffers have been “treated like shit,” has had a slew of resignations and departures in recent months during political “shitshow” resets.
Those who have left Harris include Kate Childs Graham, director of speechwriting for Harris; Senior Adviser Symone Sanders; Peter Velz, director of press operations; Vince Evans, deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs; and Communications Director Ashley Etienne.

Because today is the day that daily things need to be addressed in a timely manner and today is that day. Or some other brilliant statement.
Meh, she’s stupid, lazy, and angry. We knew that.
Does she even have any staff left?
I’ve had 3 jobs where “management” consisted of an incompetent black woman with an enormous chip on her shoulder who didn’t know what needed to be done, but tried to get it done by yelling at people. I consider it a basic personality type for certain people. I got out as fast as I could each time.
Her words are sandpaper where the Charmin goes.
When the Kenyanesian Usurper picked her for the meat puppet, I doubt he knew how stupid she really is.
He just wanted her because she is as ineligible as he is.
I’d get a kick out of a tell all book by one of these disgruntled workers.
And I really need to point out the giant non racially offensive primate in the middle of the room here. That being if someone is such a horrible vice president to work for, just what kind of product of government do these miserable Creightons think they are delivering to we the people?
If by “kick” you mean a robbery gone wrong at 2:00AM on the author, yeah. But that will never see a keystroke.
True story from late 90’s in my work career:
I worked in a place with 8 people on the IT staff, including one who was EXACTLY the “incompetent” type you describe. Dead weight.
It was decided we would all get new office furniture and it was done with 4 getting new furniture one year and the other 4 the following year.
Incompetent got her new furniture in year 1 - in the first group. The following year the other folks got their new furniture, and, when she also didn’t get new furniture - even though she got it the year before - she filed a discrimination suit.
Michael Fuchs is an interesting character, in that he is the quintessential leftist/democrat swamp creature.
He has bounced around DC since the Clinton Administration, making it as high as Deputy Asst. Secretary of State. Has been in and out of the Center for American Progress, and J-Pac (a leftist Israel lobbyist)
Mistakes happen. There is always a risk with new hires. Sometimes they just don't work out.
I once managed two teams. Had a black woman who was the best person on either of those teams. No lie. She was really, really good. And I told her so. We talked about it. I wanted to promote her, but the company didn't allow it (she was new in that position), so I got her a raise. I got her a 15% raise, which got her salary up to a level that made sense. She just shrugged that off. She was unhappy, because she wanted a promotion, and she let me know she was angry that she didn't get what she deserved.
The second year, I got her the promotion she wanted. She just shrugged that off. She was unhappy, because she wanted a promotion and another 15% raise, and she let me know she was angry that she didn't get what she deserved.
The third year, she basically got where everybody got (I can't give you the moon year after year). She filed a discrimination claim against me with HR. Which didn't go anywhere -- but I did. My bottom line: I just don't work with black women anymore.
This seems to be a monthly phenomenon now.
God willing, I just have a couple more years and I am done with it. Can’t wait.
LOL! If I were still in the workforce, I wouldn’t be employed by now.
