After a lengthy delay on Monday, the Senate Judiciary Committee finally voted on whether to send Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court nomination to the Senate floor. The result was a deadlock of 11-11. While disappointing to Democrats, President Joe Biden’s nominee remains on track to be confirmed this week as the first Black woman on the high court.

With the support of three Republicans, Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah planning to vote yes, Jackson is expected to be confirmed by the end of the week.

That she will be confirmed is a no brainer. The only question remaining to be answered is by what margin. And if the past is to be any judge of the future or present, I would opine that the vote to confirm will be at least 98 yeas and 2 nays. And it could be higher. But the people deserve her for Kicking President Trump out of the White House and replacing him with Lying Joe Biden. By doing so, the People proved that they will not have an honest person having the rule over them.

Collins has no idea what it is to have kids, and worry about them. She never married until she was 59, yet she knew her husband since she was 21. He hired her as an intern to then Senator Bill Cohen. Rather weird. He has three children by his first marriage.
