The decline in Jill Biden’s popularity was happening before the first lady apologized for comparing the diversity of the Latino community to the uniqueness of breakfast tacos at a conference celebrating Latinos in San Antonio last week. Before the New York Post declared that speech her “pathetic excuses for Joe’s endless failures.”
A CNN poll had already finished fielding as Jill Biden’s string of not-so-great news broke. Over the course of a month-long survey, 34 percent rated their opinion of the first lady as favorable, 29 percent said it was unfavorable, 28 percent had no opinion, and 9 percent said they never heard of her.
So what’s going on?
A first lady dipping in popularity alongside her husband is highly unusual. It also comes at a particularly bad time for Democrats and the Biden administration, who have relied on Jill Biden as one of their most powerful campaign surrogates and an uncontroversial bright spot for the White House.
Is the first lady’s falling popularity an early warning sign of a Democratic bloodbath in the midterms?
“I think it’s a snapshot in time, and things are not going well for the administration,” said Lauren A. Wright, an associate research scholar and lecturer of political science at Princeton University who studies first ladies.
Jill Biden despite having a reputation for being a warm, vivacious communicator with a skill for the common touch, is a “cool personality” as far as media attention goes, says Jellison, adding, “she just doesn’t pop like her predecessors did in terms of public interest.”

Are they saying that the New York Post reported a story that the Washington Post was covering up, and that is somehow the fault of the Post?
Jill and Joe are the democrat party nobody in it is any smarter then the two of them guess how they got in the office.

In a notably cringeworthy moment on Wednesday’s The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg called for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden to appoint his wife Jill Biden as surgeon general should he win the White House—erroneously believing her to be an “amazing” medical doctor.“I’m hoping Dr. Jill becomes the Surgeon General, his wife,” she exclaimed, prompting Karl to awkwardly laugh.
“Joe Biden’s wife,” Goldberg continued. “She would never do it but, yeah, she’s a hell of a doctor. She’s an amazing doctor.”
The dirty leftists shunned First Lady Laura Bush who had been a librarian and after nearly 8 years the stupid librarians started talking about it. They knew it all along and were so small minded and hateful they wouldn’t be nice to her.
Then they pretended there’s no reason for a dozen women’s magazines to put Melania on the cover-——and she had been a model. Or to be polite and kind to her with tour stories and her charities and so on. Just to be spiteful to her and her husband. She never did or said anything against them (unlike Hillary who attacked GOP).
Dirty hypocrites.
If I didn’t already despise them for worse I would hate them for that.
