Ron Desantis and Josh Hawley would be a better ass kicking team.

Trump was a paper tiger when it came to dealing with the Dems, partially, I think, because he honestly couldn’t conceive of an American political party or political figures acting in such bad faith

Given their zealous fight against the STEAL, if you added the GOP to that statement I would be in 100% agreement.

Simply BS. The courts have already ruled that the STATUTE in question (get it? Not the Constitution?) was a Civil War era statute that only applied to Confederates.

The Constitution has no such limitation on who can run for, or hold office.

Absolutely agree. My point was that any possible justifications they might give for this raid don’t hold water. I wasn’t aware that the documents were gathered by the GSA and sent to him, but that just makes it even more bogus.

Yes, this is a blatant attempt to prevent President Trump from running again and that much is apparent to anyone with even half a brain. Unfortunately, that means that the mainstream media and all the Democrat politicians and pundits won’t be able to see it.

Lawyers are not allowed in any search warrant execution.

If they are present, they are handed the warrant and told to go get a cup of coffee.

There are a lot of “Law and order” lawyers on here today.

Perhaps we could actually wait for the entire story to be told.

And Filegate! Hillary’s fingerprints were all over the files - how many did she copy? How many of those does she still have? How many were classified documents? Has she (or the DNC) used any for blackmail?
When will they raid her residence? She seems to be immune from charges and prosecution.

But Hillary cannot be.

She is a democrat.

Democrats are above the law.

Hunter Biden knows that too.

I’ve been making the point that the US is now the new Soviet Union on the world stage and domestically.

If this is true, Trump had months to ensure a mole didn’t leave an incriminating box among the others. Likewise, a mole had months to place incriminating evidence.

The reported ‘empty vault’ was a tell, and practically screams ‘mole hunt’ on Trump’s part.

I doubt that we’ll ever know the truth unless Trump professes as much, but it’s funny as hell to picture the FBI opening Trump’s vault like Geraldo & Capone’s.

Did not know that. They can not even observe? What prevents a rogue law enforcement agency, as this FBI is showing they are, from planting and/or fabricating 'evidence'?

Perhaps we could actually wait for the entire story to be told.

Isn't it a little naive, after the "Russia Russia Russia" hoax and the "J6 Insurrection Committee", to expect that the story will be told truthfully?

> " ..... just wait until you see what the newly expanded IRS does to conservative leaders, organizations and individuals."

Yes. The IRS is no longer a mere administrative agency backed by Treasury enforcement under federal government. Its growth in size and scope form a literal weaponized paramilitary force with enough ammunition to kill every American many times over.

The bizarre, unfounded expansion of the IRS is, in effect, a scheme to circumvent federal law:

18 U.S. Code § 1385 - Use of Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force as posse comitatus

An express exception would be one of the Enforcement Acts passed by Congress after the American Civil War which allowed the President to call up military forces when state authorities are unable or unwilling to suppress violence directed at the constitutional rights of the people.

If allowed to exercise constitutional rights, for example, first amendment rights, the use of certain specified federal military forces to protect and enforce such exercise of rights is a violation of federal law unless state authorities FAIL or are UNWILLING to protect the exercise of such rights.

In sum, an American citizen or legal resident can expect to live free from fear of central government military forces waging violence against them. That includes those citizens who violate federal and state laws, as long as state authorities are prosecuting such violations.

Armed federal IRS agents would need permission from state authorities to use weaponry and force against state residents.

These laws are easily circumvented and underlying arguments convoluted.

I've been making the point that the US is now the new Soviet Union on the world stage and domestically.

All the way back in 2005, when I saw something hinky W did, I proclaimed this prescient quote: "First we beat the Soviet Union. Then we became them."
