This could be many things. One is unfettered hypergamy. Women are not held accountable for their actions today. Monkey branching to another guy, a higher earner for example, wont cost much legally in today to her. A guy will get epared in court if the blew up the marriage. Society and education certainly tell women to detonate their relationships and marriages; for every 1 article you can find recommending women work out relationship problems, there are 5 to 10 telling her to do eat pray love.

Oh the myth women don’t cheat, is a myth, whether it’s more than men I couldn’t say, but the idea that they somehow are, as a whole, much more loyal, particularly if in a long term relationship I think is garbage.
In the past, when men generally were the breadwinners and income opportunities were more limited for women due to societal reasons, women certainly had more to lose from being unfaithful as their social standing, income, and security was highly tied to their husband, so they probably were more loyal then men.... however in this day and age?? I don’t believe for one minute that women are greatly more loyal than men.. whether the same or more, unfaithful I wouldn’t venture, but the idea that they are HIGHLY more faithful than men on average? Nope, that’s a myth.
After all, those unfaithful men aren’t running around with just single women and prostitutes.
Women desire the security of a long term relationship, nesting, child raising etc... but don’t think that once they have that security that they suddenly turn into nuns or something.

If a woman desires sex, I don’t care how unattractive she is... she can have sex.. it may not be with someone she wants to have sex with but she will always be able to find some one willing to have sex with her with little effort.
If a man wants to have sex, generally he’s not going to have women offer too, just because he says he wants to. Unless he’s willing to pay a prostitute, or willing to have sex with other men... he’s going to have to generally actively work to find a partner. There are a few other exceptions to these general rules for men, but they are rare.
