By who?
nonsense
I’ve been getting this for several days on my office computer.
Like FR’s https security certificate is expired.
I’m not seeing it. It sometimes happens when the certificate needs to be updated, but that happened not too long ago...
I’m sure there is no lack of effort to do this. Someone would have to be extremely naive to think not.
I’m not liking this!
Try a different browser.
I get that daily, especially when trying to get on FR. It’s a Google thing (they hate FR).
Just go back and keep hitting your FR icon. I don’t have ddgo on my phone. Never happens on the laptop(ddgo/bing).
In the past few weeks I’ve had this happen & I click on “go back to safety.”
It’s probably THE VAXXXXX!
;D
While reading this thread title, Avast informed “privacy risk” and “you are being tracked” popped up.
Normally only happens on prayer threads for the last month.
But of course here now. Obvious post to happen.
Last night I couldn’t even get on.
John is looking into this...
A penny for your thoughts.
I don’t think it’s an attack, at least not at this point, it’s more likely a configuration derp somewhere, probably our end. We just renewed and installed a security certificate a month ago. Could be something in that mess.
Needless to say, when the browser complains about security, it’s best practice to be cautious. Don’t toss around your credit card number (in case of a man-in-the-middle attack.)
Anyway, I’m looking into it. Honestly, these things always end up being 90% relearning how to do the investigating, 10% fixing. Please bear with us.
I think it may be fixed.
Are you logged in?
Seriously...I’ve still been getting the “SSL certificate expired” message every since the recent renewal...until today. Not getting the message now.
Odd.
Not necessarily. You can sometimes get this message if you’re accessing over a VPN. The system gets confused about where you’re accessing from.
