I wish they’d rule that Election Day means Election Day.

No early voting.

No mail in voting except where somebody petitions for it and can show a need...eg sick/injured or infirm, or has to be out of state on business, etc. Those who fit this category to mail in their ballots via US post and it must be postmarked 3 days before election day.

You show up ON Election Day and you vote then. We did it that way for over 200 years. It worked.

First, I am sure you meant to include the military in your list of those approved, and on all of those, I agree.

On the part I included above, I agree 1000%!! If you want your mail-in vote counted, it must be dated 3 days BEFORE (that is the Saturday before the election), so that it will reach the post office by election day, or maybe the day after. But, the clear majority will have their votes (including absentee voters) ON ELECTION DAY!

I just early-voted today, but I completely agree with you.

And as you said, no mail-in voting except for those who have applied ahead of time with a valid reason. When I was overseas, I had to apply for an absentee ballot months before the election, as did my parents when we were stationed overseas.
