NBC’s medical drama series New Amsterdam mourned the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade in this week’s episode, using a maudlin montage set to an overwrought score to portray its characters’ devastation.
Tuesday’s episode, which the network timed to air just one week before the midterm elections, opened with a teary-eyed Dr. Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) looking forlornly at his young daughter as he reads about the high court’s decision then drops his smartphone in despair.
The dialogue-free montage depicts cast members in various states of panic, anguish, and shock before culminating at New Amsterdam Hospital where everyone gathers around a TV to watch the news because clearly there is nothing else to do in a major metropolitan hospital.

I wanted to look up historical stuff about New Amsterdam, an early part of our history. I had to wade though crud relating to this garbage “entertainment.”
Over the top garbage. Imagine being so dejected because the federal law mandating the right to scrape your progeny into extinction has been reversed.

This is probably up there as the worst television show in the history of television.
At least we can be comforted that not many viewers bothered to watch.
Do you know what I would like to see broadcast? A real life abortion of a baby brought to full term, show the public just what these sick bastards want.
35 years ago I witnessed an abortion when I worked as a temp in a hospital, the doctor allowed me to watch it from the window and afterwards I watched him lay the little person who was unfairly denied his life on a cold steel table while he was measured like a doll and then thrown out in a hazmat bag like yesterdays garbage. It literally got me sick to my stomach and gave me nightmares for months, still does to this day because I witnessed firsthand the murder of a child who by now could have been a dad with kids. When a child is aborted so is that childs descendants.
I watch very very little “new” tv.. its all just activist preachy garbage...
Hell, even SOAP reruns, which were absolutely activist television, at least were entertaining in their delivery... what they try to pass off these days isn’t even entertaining

It should have all the characters come together, turning into statues of concern, and then Benny Hill music starts playing with the justices running around them, doing noogies and forced high fives with a Big Bang Theory laugh track!
NBC is using PUBLIC AIRWAVES to transmit non-stop leftist propaganda. These are YOUR airwaves, not theirs. The new Congress must bring these media companies, including NPR, ABC/NBC/CBS, to heel.

The wife and I started watching this series on Hulu. Personally, I thought it sucked, but sat they it with my wife. Their over-the-top COVID acting even got to my wife and she decided we didn’t need to watch that garbage anymore. Yea!
Utterly depraved... that actor acting so sad he lost fine motor skills and dropped his phone. As he looked at his innocent 5 year old daughter and was heartbroken that she might not be free to kill his grandchildren.
Utterly depraved.
SOAP was definitely funny and Benson too.
