Former President Trump appeared undeterred by the GOP’s lackluster results in Tuesday’s midterm elections, indicating Wednesday that he does not plan to move his “big announcement” scheduled for next week.

“We had tremendous success,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “Why would anything change?”

Your post is a great disservice to all the good that DeSantis has done.

The people in Florida appreciate him, and THAT is why he has won.

It has nothing to do with Trump. As things stand now, people can like both for what they’ve accomplished - they don’t have to pick and choose.

I like DeSantis. My post is not to denigrate DeSantis, but to respond to those denigrating Trump

Well, well probably get the House and the Senate, and we’re getting some MAGA candidates in there, where we’d otherwise have RINOs.

Trump did his best to pick Conservative candidates to
replace RINOs. I don’t agree with all the picks, but
by far and large, the people going to be sworn in in
early January, will be by far more Conservative than
the RINOs they replaced.

We won the House! It doesn’t impress you that Nancy
Pelosi will quit, and that we will have far more
Conservative Republicans in the House?

Tell me the last time a guy with Trump’s clout did the
sort of thing he just pulled off. Who was it?

We get to control the agenda in the House, the committees,
the subpoenas, the assignments to serve on committees.

We may win the Senate also. It remains to be seen. The
Republican members going to the Senate this next term will
also be more Conservative.

We have had very little but RINOs in both the Senate and the
House. We will now have a body of Conservatives in there.

When did we last have thirty or forty of them in the House?

We have more people than we did. We also have replaced a
number of RINOs. Tell me that isn’t a great achievement.

This goes beyond Washington also. We have a number of
pro-life Governors and other office holders remaining or
coming to office for the first time. You’re not happy
about that?

Trump’s picks, over 200 of them won their races. Sixteen
didn’t. Damn, considering a lot of these folks are solid
Conservatives, I have no idea what folks are thinking when
they want to thank Trump by trashing him and acting as if
he didn’t do diddly squat.

What I just mentioned is a very big accomplishment.

Now imagine how Nancy Pelosi feels.

The “Arizona is purple” and “Texas is turning Purple” myths are buried.

So is “Florida is turning purple.”

One of the top Dem donors has lost his entire $60 billion fortune.

The Dems have a lame duck “President” to run in 2024 and he completely owns the busted economy.

Sucks to be you.

I like how Shillary is suddenly this magnificent dream team opponent in revisionist history. Trump won 2016 because the Dems messed up not because he was the Republican savior come down from the heavens. Thats why everybody including many in this place was surprised in 2016.

He’s had ample opportunity to prove 2016 wasn’t a fluke but he hasn’t. We’ve had three elections where he’s in charge and the results have been lackluster at best in all three. You can argue maybe he’s not as much to blame as the media implies but we need someone better than the best we can say about him is he’s not as much to blame as some say.

How many chances are you going to give him before you move on 5? 10?

I’d like to point out that everything you mentioned about trumps accomplishments are things you’d expect from an average Republican president. Heck Bush II’s picks are the ones leading the charge on Roe and are (aside from Roberts) more conservative than Trump’s picks.

Has anyone asked themselves why the election riggers allowed DeSantis to have a victorious night?

*******************************************

Sorry, That’s just silly. The riggers didn’t let him win.
Rick Scott and Desantis both fired the 2 most cheating county of election supervisors. Desantis passed election integrity laws, and hired a election security police force.

Also, Florida registered more than 1/2 million new Republican voters since the last election.

Plus.... he is just a great governor!

Good. Let them fight it out. That is the American way. DeSantis is great, but can be a bit pompous. Trump has a habit of cutting egoists down to size in debates. Let them at it...we will all be better off for it.

Incredible....he’s doing a victory dance against another conservative at the worst possible time. Yet people will still defend this. Thats how you know they have transitioned from supporters to cultists.

I don’t disagree, DeSantis earned his victory, but what I am saying is that despite the election rigging in so many other races, they didn’t seem to do so in Florida.

I really like DeSantis, I just hate to see these two camps fighting.

If only he enjoyed fighting leftists as much as he does sniping at conservatives or really anyone who gets in the way of his personal shortterm ambition. Even if its at the cost of his long term ambition.
