This SP was the same guy who went after VA Gov McDonnell and got a conviction for gift violations that was overturned by the USSC 9-0 on appeal. McDonnell was a consideration for Pres.after his Gov term ended until he was convicted. His marriage broke up, lost his career, I think he went to jail, his health was failing. All because he was a contender for Pres. and in the Dems way (they wanted a clear path for Hillary and needed VA to win. Obama brought us all of this, why is he even still breathing?

“ Trump has made a statement about making a statement which is in itself a statement.”

Why couldn’t Trump see the danger in a DC rally on J6? I could, simply based on the fact all previous Trump rallies in Dem-dominated DC had resulted in chaos.. You could not have paid me to go there. I figured there’d be antifa-inspired violence on the Mall, big time. Instead , the action happened at the Capitol, but it was trouble for Trumps supporters just the same. What massive blind spot kept Trump from foreseeing that he was putting himself and his followers at risk?

Or maybe they understand what is going on better than you do.

“They’re baiting him and he’s falling for it.”

Okay genius, tell us exactly how they are baiting him and what signifies that he is falling for it.

What’s telling is Trump endorsed Sen Scott to replace McConnell but when it came to the vote, McConnell breezed to victory . IMHO, it would have been better for Trump to be quiet rather then publicly taking on McConnell only to be embarrassed

what’s telling is that Brian Kemp (!) won re-election in a romp; trump can’t move votes like he used to — and that’s assuming that he could ever move votes for anyone but himself.

"It looks like Trump knew this was coming. Hence his announcement to run for president."

Only a moron would have thought the DOJ was going to let this go. They wouldn't have sent a battalion of agents to search every nook and cranny of Mar-a-Lago, take private documents and personal items, only to decline to take it farther. They have to justify why they did it in the first place, and they have to make it look like it isn't politically motivated, which of course we know it is, and they can only accomplish that if they find somebody to charge him...thus a Special Counsel.

Your statement that all other Trump rallies embed in chaos is just false. I, myself don’t attend events with large crowds but I know people who went to his other rallies in DC and they had quite a different experience than what you claim. Personally, I never would have attended the J6 rally even if I went to rallies, for the exact reason you mentioned. I think DT did not have the information that we may have cone across about the problems that could occur. He was invited to speak by some vote group abd likely didn’t want to let them down, probably believed they were an above board group and since Nancy and Mitch didn’t think there would be enough of a danger to warrant Nationl Guard maybe he thought it would be OK yo go ahead. He himself was only there for an hour speaking. Who knows. Like I’ve Saud, send him a letter and ask him.

Untrue. If he was on the scotus, he would be there in place of amy coney barrett

He would have done massive damage.

Persecution under color of law.

Scotus should acknowledge this obvious fact.

50% of Trump Rally attendees this year are brand new.

"Thank heaven that partisan hack Merrick Garland never got a lifetime appointment to SCOTUS."

Don't be too quick with that thank heaven. Biden's got two years, and who knows, he could even be re-elected because nobody gives a rat's ass about voter fraud. And with Senate Republicans being part of the uni-party, I could see them confirming Garland if Biden got the opportunity to replace a retiring or dead Justice. And then there's the possibility, that because of voter fraud, that Democrats could get a large majority in both Houses in 2023, and decide to pack the court. I for one believe that the Democrats would make sure he was nominated for the Court, and confirmed as payback for not letting his nomination go to hearings.

I disagree on one point: I don’t think thry care at all that it looks politically motivated. I think they take great pleasure in the fact that they have done this and are now rubbing our noses in it. They are sadists and sociopaths. They enjoy this and the more they can get away with, the better it makes them feel.

US House oversight of DOJ begins January 3, 2023. We will see who blinks first Garland or Trump.

It will be Garland.

Were you ever part of his base to begin with?
