My son was supposed to be on a SW flight tomorrow but it was canceled. The same flight for today was canceled. He explained the problem the same way Buttigieg did — their scheduling system crapped out so they don’t know where their crews are, so they have to schedule everything manually.
Now, whether Buttigieg can or will do something about it is another story. Because people in his position are always going to DO...SOMETHING.. about every problem, even if they don’t know what that solution is.
There's a certain sort of person who likes to constantly blurt out "solutions" to problems that they completely fail to understand.
I would like to throttle such people. When I encounter them, the word "garotte" suddenly springs to mind.
What is adding to the problem is SWA has lost track of the baggage which has been piling up in the terminals. All of this should have been corrected with help from Buttigieg's Federal agency. Instead, we see Buttigieg wasting time playing the blame game. It's time he got his ass in gear or get pulled out of office!
