I absolutely agree.
I don’t have any problem with it; in fact I hope it goes on more. It brings excitement to politics.
I’m tired of the dull predictability, where we already know who a presidential nominee will be, before the convention—and like in this case, the Speaker immediately as a new Congress is seated.
The uncertainty brings excitement—and I doubt it “holds up” “important” business of Congress.
