I read elsewhere he had lung damage from the hit. And was conscious when they sedated him to put in the tube.
Why is this happening?
I know a guy that had to be jump started four times.
Never had any heart problems before his heart attack.
2006..one year after mine.
No. He is improving.
Never.
I hope he follows my brother in law’s healing. He collapsed in cardiac arrest and was resuscitated by EMTs. His heart had stopped for at least 10 minutes. They kept him in his coma. Put him on a respirator and lowered his body temperature. He had no blockages in his heart. They still don’t know what caused his cardiac arrest (this was before Covid). I really thought he was a goner. On the 4th day he opened his eyes. Finally he was able to breath on his own. They implanted a defibrillator but it has never gone off. 4 years later he does not have any aftereffects.
A wonderful miracle, indeed!
I am so happy...for you, both!!
He is so lucky that happened where it did. Had he been home he would be dead
Oh, how awful, to think.
This poor young man is fighting for his LIFE!
Please...let’s don’t write him off.
Pray...and, pray some more. As other’s have said...he’s improving.
Now let’s see if NFL takes responsibility for the Hit but they can’t say the jab bc they mandated it, so they are realu screwd, at least I hope they are
Doubt he has lung damage. Question is if he has brain damage. Hopefully, the fact he had CPR so quickly that his brain wasn’t subjected to prolonged oxygen.
If he had lung damage, he could also have damage to his heart.
Amen!
Right. It sounds like they think it was a chest slam.
Oh my goodness.
God id good!
I’m so thankful that she’s OK! That’s wonderful!
according to the first two links below, the NFL club will pick up health insurance (hospital bills) for 5 years per union agreement. As to disability, there’s severance pay lump sum and pension based on months of active play. The players can purchase individual policy income/disability insurance on their own:
this lawyer gets specific, suggesting new negotiations reduced the club-paid disability from $20K/mo to $4K/mo

maybe someone else has a better answer?
Very true.
That’s awesome! I’m thankful that he’s back to mormal!
