A 6-year-old first-grader at an elementary school in Newport News, Virginia, shot a teacher on Friday afternoon during an altercation in a classroom, authorities said, leaving her with "life-threatening" injuries and renewing calls from parent's for greater classroom safety and oversight.
The 6-year-old boy shot 30-year-old Abigail Zwerner, a first-grade teacher at Richneck Elementary School. She was rushed to Riverside Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries following the incident.

Just looked up Richneck Elementary School and it comes as no surprise that 74% of the students are minority, the chronic absentee rate is 25% and the only 41% of Black students are passing English. This is after 400 years of being exposed to civilization. Imagine what the last two years of illegal immigration will do for the future of the U.S.

That means 26 percent are white. I guess since the teacher is white, it’s possible the kid was white too.
That’s a possibility I likely would never have thought of until you posted it. Who would have imagined 50 years ago that Newport News would have turned into such a sad place
Thanks for prompting my first reply on FR in years. I know nothing of this woman other than what’s been posted in the media and other internet sources. But congratulations to you! You and others like you on FR a classic example of bigoted and judgemental POS who judge based on appearances. All that’s been said and posted about Ms. Zwerner has been nothing but positive. Her apparent response to the shooting in getting her students to safety is lost on you and others who judge based on hair color or tats. Shame on you. But then again, shame is conditional only to those who have a sense of morals and conscience, which I don’t believe you have. Disgusting and thank you for reminding me of why I only lurk on this POS site.
It ought to be a law that a school can demand a parent or approved guardian stay through the class day with problem children. And control the child, and keep the child on target for class work.
I spent my high school years essentially being tortured by teachers, administrators, police, and my parents. You’re just going to have to accept that I don’t mindlessly worship any of these people.
And don’t be surprised if the investigation into this shooting leads to an indictment of the teacher.

No it is not bigotry. It is a valid question given what is going on in public pedogrooming facilities formerly known as schools.
Was she abusing the the child? Was she telling him he needed to transition into a freak? These are reasonable questions.
And yeah, if she was doing that other teachers, the union and administration would praise her in glowing terms. So the fact that nothing bad has been said about is defacto admission of wokeness, and abusive ideology

The law you’re looking for allows homeschooling.
Leftists can never grasp that gun laws don’t deter anyone,
let alone six year olds.
There’s already a law that no guns can come within 1000 feet
(...or something along those lines) of a school zone.
All these school shootings prove that these laws do not work,
but here we are again with the Left baffled that it didn’t
prevent this situation.
Now they’ll push for more laws that won’t work.
Good old John Doe Citizen will be the only one hampered by
new laws.
I have a friend who was a first grade teacher in Richmond California. That area is predominantly black. But it started getting an influx of Hispanics.
So one day I was in her classroom and she introduced me to this little boy named Carlos. A few days later she told me that Carlos had come to school with a gun. First grade. And the reason he did that was because he was being bullied by black boys. First grade. He felt he had to defend himself. This was in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
Maybe the woke teacher was abusing the kid?
