If a cop had done this and we had a Republican President we would have George Floyd riots II.

Thank you.

Who the hell wants to get in a fair fight? If you’re shooting some POS, it’s because he’s a violent criminal engaged in violent crime. He deserves no consideration, and should get none. Warning the SOB just gives him the chance to shoot you, or grab a hostage, or otherwise make matters worse than they already are.

This complete nonsense about backshooting being cowardly is appealing only to people who are completely divorced from reality.

This “shooter” had a fake gun

Who cares? If it looks real, your life depends on treating it as real. Are you a democRAT?

Ok - so now you say that it would have been okay to shoot him in the back if he had a real gun?

So instead of saying “stop” it becomes “Excuse me sir, is that a real gun you are assaulting people with or rather a good resemblance of one?”

No, But he did not need to shoot him in the back. This makes all ccw holders look real bad - crazy bad. I’m one.

Serious question:

If you were on the jury, would you indict/convict?

Every situation is different. If there are shots fired then take him down. Don't shoot them in the back when they are leaving. This makes CCW holders look bad. All of us look bad. Watch the video objectively.

This WILL be going to trial whether we like it or not. I want to follow this one.

Well, people who think this way will be found on juries, so there's that. All the more reason to train and know the law.

All the more reason for patriots not to dodge jury duty.

Knowing what you currently know, would you indict/convict this fellow?

You would hang a felony conviction on him?

You’re part of the problem.

Do you think an off duty cop would have done the same thing as this guy in this situation? Shoot the guy in the back like that? I don't know of any police force that trains like that for that particular situation. Any police in the audience?

I don’t know. If that had been an off-duty cop he would be in jail right now, or house arrest at a minimum.

That you would even consider hanging a felony conviction on a citizen who killed a violent criminal in the act of committing a violent crime ... a violent criminal who should have been in prison for previous crimes ... is disgusting. Absolutely repulsive.

I want to keep my CCW. This is bad, real bad. Luckily the MSM is not beating it to death. Again watch the video objectivley. Pretend the guy that shoots the perp is an off duty cop. Would you want cops like that running around?

If you threaten a police officer with a gun, they will empty they will often empty their magazine, based on video shoots I have seen. Why? Neutralize the threat. Go home to your family, live another day.

This guy is presumably not a cop. Probably has never encountered this before, and so maybe he shot a dead guy a couple of times.

I give him the leeway to protect himself and others. Why wouldnt you?

I love reading Andrew Branca. He has a very logical way of presenting information. I bet he is a helluva lawyer.
